Free Theatre: 'A Night Less Ordinary'A Night Less Ordinary logo
NEW SEASON NOW LAUNCHED

Are you a parent under 26 years old? If so you can have free tickets to bring your childen to Half Moon.

Half Moon is proud to be a partner in Arts Council England's: 'A Night Less Ordinary' encouraging under 26 year olds to go to the theatre more.

A Night Less Ordinary is an Arts Council England scheme which will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to under 26 year olds in more than 200 venues across England, between February 2009 and March 2011. Visit www.anightlessordinary.org.uk for further information.


A Night Less Ordinary tickets must be booked at least three days in advance.

unfortunately A Night Less Ordinary free tickets can't be booked online.

A Night Less Ordinary tickets are available for all shows. Our season runs from October - March annually.

In a small house on a windy hill lives Something Else. At least that is what everyone else calls him when he tries to join in their games. Something Else is lonely. That is until Something shows up.

Tall Stories present this magical show, full of song, laughter and storytelling, exploring the fantastical friendship of two creatures.

On the edge of the village is an old house - inside the house a huge, mysterious tiger skin. Sit on it and stories flow into your head – faster and faster, wilder and wilder, until you have to jump up and act them out or burst.

Moby Duck's latest Korean story, created in collaboration with children, is bursting with storytelling, physical theatre and wild exuberant Korean humour.

PuppetCraft's adaptation brings this much loved story to life using beautiful puppets and original live music.

A butterfly flutters. A kite soars. Children play. But not everyone has something to play with. Join Rip, Fold and Scrunch as they journey into the multicoloured world of friendship, with the help of some magical paper creations.

Inspired by the imagination and play of children, Half Moon's enchanting new show fuses theatre, Kathak dance and music within a paper world, which is created and dismantled before our eyes.

After the performance audience members are invited to come and experiment with paper - ripping, folding and scrunching their own creations.

Half Moon favourites Theatre of Widdershins will transport you to a magical land with this delightful show, dripping with lavish colours and textures, accompanied by an original soundtrack.

Singing whales, pestering pirates and a multitude of deep sea creatures swim to the surface in this fantastic aquatic adventure from Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company.

Tickets are subject to availability and must be booked at least 3 days prior to the show.
Maximum 4 free tickets per show per booker.
All A Night Less Ordinary free ticket recipients must be under 26 years of age.
When collecting tickets we will require photograhic proof of age.
We require name, date of birth and address from all A Night Less Ordinary free ticket recipients.
A Night Less Ordinary is not available to school groups, only individuals/families are eligible for free tickets.
