Half Moon's brand new piece of theatre for the very young explores growing up at a time when friendships are made and the world around is discovered. Fusing dance and an original soundtrack, Plum And Pickle is an innovative show which will make you see shapes in a new way.
Plum and Pickle was created alongside Rip, Fold, Scrunch, as part of year one of Half Moon's artform development project Exchange For Change, exploring new work for early years audiences.

Education and participation
The professional production of Plum And Pickle was accompanied by a participatory programme for Foundation stage.
The participatory programme consists of four multi-sensory workshops and a visit Half Moon's Limehouse venue to see the professional production Plum And Pickle. The project also has legacy built in via CPD for Children's Centre staff and teachers.
Half Moon have vast experience of working with Early Years groups.
“ Both adults and children enjoyed this experience, it was suitable for age and stage of development. The staff also worked with the children who attend the Spark Centre, these children have additional needs such as autism. They loved the session.”
