Young People > Youth Theatres 5 To 17 Years
We have 7 Youth Theatre groups. We offer a unique space in which young people can create quality performance pieces and explore a variety of drama and theatre techniques. Half Moon Youth Theatres embrace an inclusive policy for young people with physical disabilities, sensory impairments and learning disabilities, providing access assistance for all groups.
Half Moon also runs a group exclusively for disabled teenagers and provides communicators and access workers as appropriate. We fund transport for disabled members who live in Tower Hamlets if necessary. We use a range of technical resources to create exciting and accessible performances.
Our Youth Theatre Forum enables our members to have a voice within the company.
Half Moon does not hold auditions to become a Youth Theatre member, all we ask for is enthusiasm and commitment. The Youth Theatres are run by experienced tutors. All staff have Enhanced CRB status.
