King Lentil Bentil and Queen Tomatina are worried that their son, Prince Pilchard, spends too much time on his computer and will never meet a Princess to marry. When Pilchard falls for the mysterious Olivia, the King and Queen’s fears are increased. Is she or is she not a real princess? There is, of course, only one way to find out.
This tale, made famous by Hans Christian Anderson, is an engaging and playful storytelling based play, where tales are told with simple puppets and props, and children are encouraged to add their voice and energy to the unfolding story.
Alongside The Princess and the Pea are a series of fun and interactive drop in workshops, for all ages, exploring the themes of the play.
All tickets for events at the Crossrail Place Roof Garden are free. A limited number of tickets are available to book in advance with the remainder available on the door.
