Over the course of the term, Youth Theatre members will create a performance that they will share with friends and family on the last day of term (Saturday 5th April). The Bridewell Youth Theatre will provide a hub for young people to learn and develop through performing arts and create a safe space where young people can express themselves and have their voices heard. Some of the older members of the Youth Theatre will also have the opportunity to gain an Arts Award.
The Youth Theatre is led by two of our Half Moon practitioners who are professionals from the industry and bring a wealth of experience of many different types of theatre to this Youth Theatre. Half Moon Producer, Beccy Allen, said: ‘we’re so pleased to be working at the Bridewell to help develop a strong Youth Theatre there. Working alongside City Gateway means we can ensure that young people living and learning in the City of London can access this great opportunity.”
Sessions started on 18th January but for the first few weeks we are happy to welcome new members – just make sure you’ve signed up by Saturday 8th February. Contact by email or mobile: email@example.com / 07549 632 236
