Big Half – they did it!

Huge congratulations to our five runners who all successfully completed the Vitality Big Half on Sunday 1 March 2020, raising an incredible £4,000 for Half Moon. Thank you!

We are so proud of James, Sarah, Simon, Sophie and Zachary and all their hard work to help us to continue offering young people vital access to the arts that may not otherwise exist.

Two of our runners completed the race in under 2 hours, with Sarah finishing in an amazing 1:50:35 giving her an overall position of 1,115, out of 10,411 competitors. Fantastic!

James is one of our Trustees and attended our Youth Theatre in his teens. He’s written a fascinating blog about his time here and the importance of our work, which is definitely worth a read.

This was the first time that Half Moon had secured community places in the Big Half and we had a lot of fun cheering people on and meeting up with everyone after the race in Greenwich Park.

James – 2:25:49
Sarah – 1:50:35
Simon – 2:12:58
Sophie – 2:06:06
Zachary – 1:53:14
