Dust is an Offiettes Award finalist

We are delighted to announce that our online production of Dust has become an Off West End Offiettes Award finalist, as part of the Offies 2022. Huge congratulations to everyone involved.

The Offiettes recognise productions for young people that were presented live or online during 2021. They form part of the Offies, which acknowledge the excellence of shows from independent, alternative and fringe theatre.

Dust was a co-production with Z-arts. Written by acclaimed award-winning children’s author Laura Dockrill (Darcy Burdock book series and Big Bones). It used exciting puppetry and exquisite poetic language to explore a heartfelt story about love, loss, identity, and memory. With haunting music by Hugo White of The Maccabees, Dust was a striking and emotional play that was a joyous reminder about just how playful the world can be.

Our digital productions of Dust and Party both received OnComm nominations (the previous name for the Offiettes) in 2021 and we are thrilled that Dust is now a finalist in the Theatre for Children aged 5-11 category.

Becoming one of four finalists in our category is a fantastic recognition of Half Moon’s digital work, which offers a selection of recent live-recorded productions for young people to stream online from the comfort of your own home.

The Offies awards ceremony will take place online from 7pm on 20 February 2022. It is being screened via Scenesaver.

Now, we cross our fingers and wait for the awards ceremony!

Dust is available to watch via On Demand service, which allows you to watch a show for £7 whenever you want, and as many times as you like for 48 hours.
