London Marathon Banner Making

half moon full RGB PINK 300x300

The London Marathon take place in 10 days (Sunday 22 April) and some of our Youth Theatre members have been busy making banners to cheer on our two participants, Joseph Coelho and Manjeet Mann, as they run a gruelling 26.2 miles to support Half Moon and all the work we do for young people in Tower Hamlets.

The marathon passes very near to Half Moon (the end of our street!) and we’ll be open from 10am to 3.30pm for people to drop-in and use us as a cheering station for all the runners. Do come and say hello!

We estimate the wheelchair men will be here at 10.10am, wheelchair women at 10.20am, elite women at 11.05am, elite men at 11.40am and then runners with a pace of 3.5 hours at 12.45am, 4.5 hours at 1.30pm, and 6 hours at 2.45pm.
