We are delighted to announce that Off the Grid has become a finalist for the Best Production for Young People Aged 13+ at the Offies, the Off West End Theatre Awards. The production toured across the UK in November and December 2018.
There are two other finalists in our category. The productions are: The End of Eddy (Untitled Projects), at Unicorn Theatre, and Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow, at Chickenshed.
This is the second year that Half Moon has been a finalist for the award, which was a new category in 2018, and follows our subsequent win last year with What Once Was Ours, a co-production with Zest Theatre.
The awards will be announced in a ceremony at Battersea Arts Centre on Sunday 3 February 2019.
Developed in partnership with young people, Off the Grid was an immersive new play by David Lane that navigated a shocking and heart breaking human story through the underbelly of a hidden society.
We are immensely proud of Off the Grid and the wonderful team of people who helped us create this award nominated show. Thank you, we couldn’t have done it without you all. Fingers crossed for February 2019.
