Welcome to our spring 2022 season

A very warm welcome to Half Moon’s new season of theatre for young audiences, which features 36 performances, 11 productions, 8 Youth Theatre sharings and 1 family friendly foyer exhibition.

After the uncertainties of the last year, we’re proud to be working with Tangled Feet again on a new version of Butterflies (28-29 Jan), that supports the exploration of how COVID has affected the anxiety levels and resilience of children. We’re also delighted that Party will be performed on 19, 24-25 Feb and 1-4 Mar. This humorous show about a birthday party to remember, was created during lockdown and originally released as a digital on demand show; we can’t wait to see this quirky production live on stage.

Other highlights of our packed season include welcoming back audience favourites Norwich Puppet Theatre with Pinocchio (26 Feb); celebrating 20th Century icon, spy and civil rights activist Josephine Baker (11-12 Mar); creating a rave club zone with Ready Steady Rave (19 Mar), where little ones can share the spotlight with their dance hungry grown-ups; and venturing into a snowy wild wood with Lyngo Theatre and their new show Little Red Riding Hood (2 Apr).

Don’t forget our On Demand service puts your sofa in the front row with digital productions of some of our recent shows for young people, recorded live at Half Moon. Find out more: halfmoon.org.uk/on-demand

I look forward to welcoming you to back to your local theatre.
