Youth Theatre Sharings – Spring 2022

Our eight Youth Theatres brought the spring 2022 term to a close with some wonderful sharings in front of family and friends.

The Youth Theatre sharings took place between 21-26 March 2022 and were an excellent way to celebrate the term as well as giving groups the chance to share their work with their families.

We want to thank parents, carers, family and friends for supporting this group of young talented performers, we are so proud of them!

School Years 1–3

Comets – Glow

This term, Comets have explored drawing to whale and sea sounds to create unusual and exciting characters for their show.  They have used tableaus and improvisation techniques to bring their ideas to life.  They have built on the great work from last term and continued to improve their confidence, speaking voices and stage presence. The young people have also spent one session designing and decorating the beautiful paper flowers used in the show. Everything you see on stage has come from them!

Congratulations to Eden and Alina for winning Recognition Awards. Also, a big round of applause for Janiya and Goldie for getting certificates for taking part in our Youth Theatre Forum and sharing their ideas.

Youth Theatre Sharings Archive

Every Youth Theatre group normally has a sharing performance on the last session of each term where we welcome parents, carers, friends and families. All sharings take place in the main theatre space. There is no charge for adults or other children attending these performances and we encourage as many people as possible to come and support the young people by seeing their hard work performed.
