CPD: Drama for PSHE

CPD: Drama for PSHE
When: Half day, 9.30am-12noon
Who: All subject staff – Primary KS1/KS2
This online course offers drama and creative activities for exploring a number of PSHE themes with classes, including transitions, staying safe online, dealing with bullying and building friendships. The session will equip staff with practical exercises to engage children in discussions around decision-making, communication and confidence. The course is open to all staff but may be best suited for those who work with KS2.

Feedback from teachers regarding our PSHE focused CPDs include:

  • Half Moon provided an eye-opening course into how to educate young people about their online presence, getting them to consider if their online behavior is different to real life.
  • It was a very valuable day that gave a number of strategies and activities that I will take straight to school! The drama activities will bring the learning to life and help me to engage all learners.
  • On a personal level – I will be implementing a lot of what I learnt in my own home with my own children.

Please contact us to express interest in this CPD in the future or book on to any of our other sessions.
