Recovery & Cohesion

CPD: Drama for Recovery and Cohesion
Time: 2 hour recording
Who: All subject staff – Primary KS1/KS2
This course helped school staff develop the use of drama as a tool to improve classroom communication and cohesion, bringing children back together through practical and creative teaching practices. This included the use of drama to manage challenging behaviour.

Creative Recovery Programme:

This CPD session is one of a series of three which are a springboard for our Creative Recovery Programme for your KS1 classes in the summer and autumn terms. Interested in talking to us about how you can use your Catch-up Funding to buy in a bespoke programme that uses drama to focus on emotional literacy, self-regulation and movement over a series of weekly sessions? Please contact us.

Feedback from teachers regarding our Classroom Cohesion focused CPDs include:

  • The examples of how to use drama as a tool in a classroom have been very exciting and practical. It made me more confident to include activities like these and not to be afraid to do so because of behaviour, for example.
  • I came away with great exercises to add to my teacher toolkit that can be adapted for any age group.

Please contact us to access a recording of this CPD or any of our other sessions.
