Feedback from teachers at previous Drama and Poetry CPD sessions:
- So enjoyable and inspiring all activities were great and child-friendly and fun. It was great that it was led by such a successful and talented poet.
- It was great to see poetry in performance and experience a range of poem types.
- Great ideas on how to involve and interest children in poetry and drama, and how to organise a poetry/English lesson in a way to make it fun and interesting for all ages.
Sessions are FREE to staff at schools in Tower Hamlets thanks to funding from Tower Hamlets Arts Music Education Service (THAMES). A limited number of places are also available for staff from schools in other boroughs and educators working in London at a fee of £90+VAT.
Reduced fees are offered to PGCE students or teachers at partner schools of our academic partners (RCSSD, UEL, Queen Mary, IOE, Goldsmiths and LSBU).
