Our Big Family Art Event comes to a close with a relaxing big-screen cinema event in the theatre. Chill out and watch a digital performance of Half Moon’s hugely popular show Party and let the warmth of a Portuguese summer take you to a place where difference is something to celebrate.

Afonso wants to go to his best friend’s birthday party, but where is his invitation – has it been lost in the post, or was he even invited? When it finally arrives the excitement and nerves of actually going become too much to handle. What should he wear? Will they have balloons? Will anyone play with him? And what about the cake?

Heartfelt, provocative and full of quirky humour, Party features striking, colourful designs and contemporary Fado-infused music.

The show offers a poignant and popular exploration of diversity for the very young.

Party has extremely limited dialogue. This makes it accessible to a range of people, including d/Deaf, hard of hearing and non-English speakers.

All seating is unreserved. All performances are relaxed performances. Find out more about how to find usaccess and some FAQs about your visit. If the show you want to see is sold out, you can join our waiting list and we will get in touch if any tickets become available.

– We will be streaming the show via Vimeo. You can access the production via your laptop, PC, smartphone or tablet. To connect to your television you will need either Apple TV, chrome cast, or a compatible smart TV app. Find out more about watching on the Vimeo Smart TV App.

– Party is also available with British Sign Language.
