Eshu at the Crossroads

At a mysterious crossroads a traveller must decide which path to follow. But standing guard is a magical rooster, while nearby waits Eshu – the playful and unpredictable trickster spirit who delights in mischief, surprises and unexpected possibilities.

What happens when every choice can change your path? As the journey unfolds, the traveller encounters challenges, moments of joy and new ways of seeing the world around them.

Inspired by Yorubic culture, mythology and storytelling, Eshu at the Crossroads combines dance, puppetry and live performance to create a vibrant theatrical journey of myth, music and imagination.

Afro-Cuban choreographer Miguel Altunaga joins forces with pioneering puppetry company Theatre-Rites for this vibrant family adventure. Packed with humour, surprises and heart, it’s a celebration of curiosity, courage and the choices that shape our adventures.
