Meet Lucy. It’s Christmas time and there are still so many presents to wrap! What a mess. And where has the wrapping paper disappeared to?

Join Lucy as she rediscovers the festive cheer she thought she had lost, with the help of a long-forgotten Elf.

A magical sensory theatre experience that celebrates the wonder of play, imagination and delight in the simplest things. From a cardboard box to a roll of wrapping paper, everyday objects become the starting point for endless possibilities.

Full of surprises and discovery, the show playfully explores what happens when you open a box and there are unexpected adventures waiting inside.

At the end of the performance there is a stay and play session.

Gifts is a WhatNot Theatre production.

Reviews

“Gifts introduces and expands upon the magic of the imagination; after all, what poses more possibilities than an empty box? Perhaps the snatches of glee they pull out from them. All senses are satiated. There are bubbles and there are balloons (in all states of expansion). There are swathes of gauzy fabric. There are tubes of flashing lights.”

Audience member

“No one is left out. It’s a sensitive sensory explosion that hums with happiness and jiggles with joy. It is purely about play.”
