My House is Too Small

A perfect little house: a window, a door and a cup of tea. What more could anyone want? But this little old lady thinks her house is far too small!

Following advice from her neighbours, books from the library, the internet and even the postie, she fills her home with an assortment of weird and wonderful animals. As the creatures become bigger, stranger and noisier, the house descends into chaos. What can she do? Time to call the Helpline!

One by one, the animals are sent on their way, and at last her house feels just right. Now she can finally sit down, enjoy a cup of tea and spend time with her neighbours.

Performed by Zannie Fraser of Luminous Tales, this delightful show combines puppetry, giant pop-up books and clowning, with plenty of animal sounds, music and audience participation. A joyful and interactive experience for young audiences and their families.
