New season now on sale – A message from Chris
Hello, I am delighted to welcome you to Half Moon for our latest season of professional shows. We’re pleased to be welcoming back some old favourites, in addition to some exciting new companies, offering a mix of theatre, puppetry, poetry, storytelling and more.
We open our season with our bubbly, barmy bath time adventure Big Red Bath before its tour splish splosh splashing around the country, returning to us in February. In November we present Guantanamo Boy which is based on the critically acclaimed novel by Anna Perera – a powerful and immersive play for teenagers. And don’t forget you can drop in to look around our gallery exhibitions at any time.
This year as usual, we will have lots of opportunities for children and young people to take part in a wide range of activities, both with their nurseries, schools and colleges, as well as independently. There’s some information on the Youth Theatre page. All of our projects are accessible for disabled young people.
I am so thrilled that over the last three years we have been able to raise all the money needed to refurbish the building, it has been hard work, but I think you’ll agree it is worth it. In these challenging financial times we now need to focus on raising money to keep our ticket prices and membership fees affordable for all. If you can help us by making a contribution – no matter how small – we would be extremely grateful. Details of how you can support us can be found on this page.
