We are thrilled to announce that What Once Was Ours, our co-production with Zest Theatre, has won Best Production for Young People Aged 13+ at the Offies, the Off West End Theatre Awards. This was the first time the award has been presented, as it was a new category for 2018.
The awards were presented in a ceremony at The Albany in Deptford, on Sunday 4 March 2018.
Created against the background of Brexit and developed through direct contact with young people across the country, What Once Was Ours used their words and opinions to explore how politics and national values impact on the complex lives of one family.
The show gave a voice to the young people left voiceless during Brexit and was a powerful and immersive production about identity and belonging.
We are immensely proud of What Once Was Ours and the wonderful team of people who helped us create this award-winning co-production with Zest Theatre. Thank you, we couldn’t have done it without you all.
