Colour in Motion

A vibrant world of colour and motion for the very young

Colour in Motion is a vibrant new performance created especially for babies aged 0–12 months and their carers.

Made by Daniel Naddafy (First Light, Glisten), this lively, movement-based show invites its youngest audiences into a world where colour and motion are deeply connected.

Designed as a sensory-rich experience for babies and carers, it explores and encourages movement in a way that feels natural, playful and engaging—made for babies, with babies at its heart.

Through bold visuals and playful choreography, Colour in Motion explores how colour shapes the way we move and how our bodies respond to it. Angular body movements cut through geometric shafts of light, creating a striking visual language inspired by the Bauhaus movement enhanced by the dynamic electronic score.

This 45-minute performance bursts with fun, wonder and discovery. It offers a shared space where babies can watch, react and connect with their carers. At the end of the performance, audiences are welcomed into the performance space to wriggle, move and experience the environment up close, extending the sense of play and connection beyond the stage.

About our work

Our productions don’t educate, as such, advocating instead that there are not always correct answers or solutions when talking about or addressing prejudice, social injustices, equality and social inclusion.

Like any good story, Colour in Motion allows the audience to join up their own dots, think creatively and ask questions so they can discover their own answers to complex issues, even at a very early age through, experiencing a high-quality theatre adventure.
