Havelock Walks East
by Havelock Walk artists
5 January – 11 April 2016
Havelock Walk is home to a diverse community of creative people, who live and work on a cobbled mews at the heart of Forest Hill, in South East London. However, they crossed the river to ‘Walk East’ to Half Moon for their exhibition.
Havelock Walks East brought together a spectacular assortment of painters, sculptors, photographers, artists, printmakers and designers, presenting an impressively wide-ranging and exciting exhibition, drawing together their collective talents to present a community of artists who share a common goal: to create a compassionate and creative environment that offers recognition, encouragement and support whenever needed.
The eight artists on display have an immediate vibrancy that, regardless of the artistic medium, make you think about contemporary scenes and situations.
Havelock Walks East was a unique and rare moment for the East End to share the excitement of the studio’s collective artistic talent.
