Half Moon provides theatre-based participatory and performance projects for young people from 0 - 18. We work within Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Special schools, both during and after school hours. Projects aim to complement and enrich curriculum learning in the broadest sense. Each project is unique and often combines drama with other artforms such as puppetry, video technology, music, art and dance - led by our specialist tutors.

Projects are carefully planned, monitored and evaluated by the Half Moon team in consultation with users. Each project begins with a visit to the school/centre, to establish aims and objectives. Half Moon presents session plans, evaluations by both the tutors and students, and photographic evidence of the process.

Half Moon can create tailor made programmes for your group. We facilitate projects of varying lengths from one-off workshops to multi-term residencies and can work with multiple groups within each school/centre.

Half Moon are keen to provide a legacy for the schools and centres we work with and can provide training sessions for the teachers, support staff and parents/carers involved to carry on Half Moon's work after the project.

All Half Moon staff have Enhanced CRB status.
