Every week National Lottery players raise over £30 million for good cause projects, like ours. That’s why we’re pleased to be taking part in National Lottery Open Week (19-27 March 2022), which celebrates the contribution of National Lottery players in supporting good causes over the past 27 years.

To thank National Lottery players for their support, we will be offering a free digital screening of Paper Aeroplane, a filmed show for ages 3-7, for people to watch at home from the comfort of their own sofa.

Developed with children who have shared their experiences of losing loved ones, Paper Aeroplane, sensitively explores loss and bereavement, the challenges we face when trying to move on, and how we can help one another along the way.

Paper Aeroplane is a Lots of Odds production that originally toured nationally as part of Half Moon Presents. The production was a 2020 Off West End OnComm Award finalist for Best Show for Children. The show has closed captioning for d/Deaf and hard of hearing audiences and is also available with British Sign Language.

Present a National Lottery ticket or scratch card to a member of the Half Moon Team during National Lottery Open Week and we’ll give you a special code, allowing you to watch the film of Paper Aeroplane as many times as you like for 48 hours, during National Lottery Open Week.

As a recipient of National Lottery funding, Half Moon has been able to refurbish our Victorian home, explore the history of the building, the heritage of the company with Stages of Half Moon, and helped us to celebrate our 30^th birthday as a young people’s theatre.

The National Lottery supports good cause projects in the areas of arts, education, environment, health, heritage, sport and community. Over the past 27 years, National Lottery players have raised more than £43 billion for projects which are making a huge difference to lives of people and communities throughout the whole of the UK.

We are one of many participating National Lottery-funded projects across the UK who are proud to be taking part in National Lottery Open Week, coming together to say #ThanksToYou to the players with special offers.
