Sharings – Summer 2018

Inspired by their consultations with older people, Eclipse, Equinox, Lunar and Solar Youth Theatres spent five months unearthing and celebrating the group recreational, social and community activities for children and young people that took place in London’s East End during the 1950s, 60s and 70s. They then used this stimulus to create four new shows inspired by what they had discovered for our Playful Heritage project.

Take a look at the galleries below to discover the varied and accomplished performances the groups produced and check out the Playful Heritage pages on our digital archive Stages of Half Moon.
