This in-person 2 hours 45 minutes course explores creative ways to teach about topics such as positive relationships, boundaries, and personal safety.
As of 2020, it is compulsory for all schools to teach the Relationships Education Curriculum. The session will look at how to create a cohesive classroom and enable children to feel able to share and talk about difficult things. This course would be particularly useful for teachers who want to develop an increased confidence for delivering RE in their classrooms.
The session is FREE for all Tower Hamlets school staff (teachers, TAs, Learning Mentors etc.) and there are a limited number of spaces for teachers working outside borough.
Course fees for non-Tower Hamlets teachers are £90+VAT (full day) or £45+VAT (half day). There are discounts available for PGCE students.
