Half Moon runs seven Youth Theatre groups for 5 – 18 year-olds in East London interested in theatre and drama. Watch the video below to see and hear a little bit more about our Youth Theatre.

Young people from Tower Hamlets and across East London attend our Youth Theatres. All of our Youth Theatre groups are open to young disabled people and our venue is fully accessible. Comets – School Years 1 to 3, Saturday 10.00am – 11.00am (Autumn & Spring terms)
Sunbeam – School Years 1 to 3, Saturday 11.15am – 12.15pm (Autumn & Spring terms)
Moonbeam – School Years 1 to 3, Saturday 12.45pm – 1.45pm (Autumn & Spring terms)
Eclipse – School Years 4 to 6, Tuesday 4pm – 6pm (Autumn, Spring & Summer terms)
Equinox – School Years 4 to 6, Wednesday 4-6pm (Autumn, Spring & Summer terms)
Lunar – School Years 7 to 12, Tuesday 6.30pm – 8.30pm (Autumn, Spring & Summer terms)
Please note: some Lunar members stay on until they are in Year 13 but you cannot join if you are already in Year 13.
Solar – A specialist group for disabled teenagers, Wednesday 6.30pm – 8.30pm (Autumn, Spring & Summer terms)
