By the Light of the Moon

Who ever heard of a cat that’s afraid of the dark, or an owl that isn’t wise? Championing friendships forged through difference, this tender tale will take you on a magical journey, exploring why everything looks special ‘By the Light of the Moon’.

Please note: Performances on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 June at 10.30am are schools performances. Members of the public are very welcome, but please be aware that there will be large school groups in attendance. The performance on Friday 30 June at 1.30pm  is currently being held for local schools. Once we have confirmed numbers, we will release tickets to the general public. Butterflies

Created in response to young children’s experience of anxiety, Butterflies is an uplifting tale of friendship, courage and facing your fears, told using innovative staging, breathtaking physicality, touching humour and an original musical score.

This show has limited dialogue. This makes it accessible to a range of people, including d/Deaf, hard of hearing and non-English speakers.

Please note: Performances on Friday 23 September are for local schools. Members of the public are welcome, but please be aware that there will be a large school group in attendance.

Baby Bear (older audience)

There are two versions of Baby Bear suitable for different ages. This version is for ages 18 months-3 years. It is an energetic version of the production suitable for those on the move or wanting a livelier experience.

Bear doesn’t want to venture outside her cosy cave. But she is too curious about the sights, sounds and smells outside to stay indoors. Tempted by the creatures that wander into her home, Baby Bear learns the beauty of nature and how returning home is even better after an adventure.

Big Red Bath

Rubba-dubba-giggle, rubba-dubba-laugh, there’s magic to be found in the Big Red Bath! Come with us on a bubbly, barmy bath time adventure around the world and home again, celebrating all things bath time.

Adapted from Julia Jarman and Adrian Reynolds’ popular children’s picture book, this quirky, vibrant and humorous tale for 2-5 year olds features music by Evergreen, an alternative indie-electro-pop trio who bring a blend of folk melodies, electro beats and vocal harmonies.

Big Red Bath is an exciting collaboration between Full House Theatre and Half Moon.

Book signing: Author Julia Jarman will be signing copies of Big Red Bath after the 11am and 2pm performances on Saturday 20 November.
