Meeting Rooms

Half Moon offers four spaces for meetings, seminars, presentations, training events, group sessions, conferences and book launches in East London, E1.
  • Red Room:  Our most compact space, located on the first floor, suitable for smaller group meetings or events that seat up to 12 people.
  • Upper Studio: Our second largest space, located on the first floor, with a capacity of 35 people.
  • Theatre Foyer:  Capacity of 60 for book launches or similar events.
  • The Theatre:  A flexible space which a retractable seating block.  The maximum capacity of the room is 90 people (without seating) or up to 60 people seated.

Basic technical equipment, conference tables, seating and flip charts are available.

Half Moon is a fully accessible venue.

Red Room

Our most compact space, located on the first floor, suitable for smaller group meetings or events  that seats up to 12 people. The Red Room is fully accessible via the lift. A projector with a HDMI connector and retractable screen are available. There is also a Yamaha Clavinova in the room. Dimensions: 4.5m x 4.7m.

Upper Studio

Our second largest space, located on the first floor, with a capacity of 35 people. The Upper Studio is fully accessible via the lift and has public Wi-Fi. A projector with a HDMI connector and fixed screen are also available alongside the option of blackout blinds. There is also a full LED lighting rig, PA system, projector and projection screen. Dimensions: 4.1m x 10.4m. 

Theatre Foyer

Suitable for coffee mornings or book launches. Seating, serving tables, microphone and stand available. Capacity of 60 for book launches or similar events. 

The Theatre

A flexible black box space which can have raked seating for up to 60 people. The maximum capacity of the room without the seating rake is a total of 90 people. There is a full LED lighting and sound rig in the theatre. A projector with a HDMI connector and fixed screen are also available. Dimensions without seating: 7m (w) x 8.5m (l).

Located near Limehouse station on the DLR line between Canary Wharf (9 mins) and Bank (5 mins) our venue has excellent transport links. The Central, Northern and Waterloo and City lines of the London underground network, are just 5 minutes away on the DLR, so our venue is easily accessible.
