Local George Green’s School on the Isle of Dogs was proud to present an exciting display of artwork from their 2015 GCSE students. Using nature, people and places as their starting points the exhibition explored thematically ‘Above and Below’ and what that means.

The students used a wide range of artists as their inspiration ranging from Frank Auerbach, Salvador Dali, Georgia O’Keefe and Ed Fairburn.

Their work is individual, sensitive, dynamic and full of expression as they all created a truly personal approach to the themes they researched.

Above and Below is part of Half Moon’s annual commitment to showcase the work of local art students.
