Winter Warmer Festival (Online)

Winter Warmer Festival (Online)
From Saturday 9 January
Ages | 3-9

We’re very excited to start 2021 with a Winter Warmer Festival of online activities for everyone to take part in at home. It may be cold outside, but we’re going to get toasty and warm!

Storyteller Amari Harris conjures up two seasonal stories with a sprinkle of magic and an energetic snowball fight. Musician Toby Davies teaches body percussion and helps everyone create the sounds of a frosty winter; before music and drama combine for a festive finale. Plus, Beccy Allen, Half Moon’s Head of Creative Learning, gets crafty and shows us how to make a paper penguin, winter lantern and snowman bookmark.

You can join in the winter fun from the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you. Let us know how you got on, by leaving a message on our Facebook or Twitter pages.

Captions
All of the Winter Warmer Festival videos have closed captions available. The captions will not appear on the videos automatically. You will need to turn them on each time you watch anything. To turn on captions when viewing a video, click the CC button in the player’s bottom toolbar. In the menu that appears, select the caption or subtitle track you’d like to see.
