What’s On at Half Moon

Based on the UK Government advice about Coronavirus, all performances and most activities at Half Moon Theatre continue to be suspended until further notice. We aim to start some targeted activity for local young people at our base from 3 August, as well as continuing our online offer in the next few months.

During lockdown, we launched Half Moon Theatre at Home, offering families free access to children’s theatre online. Productions for young people were made available at www.halfmoon.org.uk/live until Sunday 19 July 2020. We also moved some of our school, community and youth theatre activity online.

We are extremely sorry for the disruption, and have contacted all ticket holders and participants. Thank you for your patience whilst we plan our gradual re-opening. Please sign up to our newsletter if you haven’t already to receive updates from us.

Half Moon Theatre is a charity and ticket sales are one of our sources of funding. We recognise that this is a difficult time for many of us. However, if you are able to consider making a donation, it would be hugely appreciated.

Celebrating the very best of children’s theatre and work for young audiences at our Limehouse venue. We’re proud to keep our tickets affordable at just £7 each, some of the cheapest theatre tickets in London. Find out what’s on at the links below. Half Moon’s regular season of children’s theatre and theatre for young people runs from September to April. We programme some shows and special events during the rest of the year, but on a less frequent basis. Half Moon Theatre Gift Vouchers are also available, allowing you to give the gift of theatre.

If you are a school or other community group looking to book a show, please see our Schools Shows page. It is often possible to programme an additional performance of one of our Half Moon presents shows, at Half Moon or your own setting.

Please note: Age ranges are recommended by the visiting companies. They serve as a guide only and we welcome siblings or other children from outside of the age range.
